PufferMath

screen shot

The idea of writing a spreadsheet to help people deal with the math involved with gas producers started when I was reading Maxgasman's (Max) emails. He was helping people with hearth load and of course he works in SI and the people he was helping worked in the English system. So I thought it would be a good idea to write a small spreadsheet to help everybody out.

Well, the small spreadsheet is growing into a gas producer modeler and it will never be complete but I hope to keep adding to it.

I do all my work in Linux and use Open Office to write the spreadsheet then convert that in to an Excel file. So, I don't check how the Excel file looks or works hence it's best to use the Open Office (Linux) version if you can.

The first release is "beta 2.3" and should be thought of as a pre pre pre pre release so don't expect too much. It's important to understand that I have spent no time checking for errors so be very careful when you hit the enter button, wear your safety glasses! Furthermore the Imbert model is a simple linear engine so at the extremes the most error will be found. In other words; some design charts are curved at both ends but this model is a strait line.

Any hints, ideas, equations, or remarks are welcome...

Jeff
