The Gas-of-Fire 1000 produces ABOUT 10% charcoal by weight of wood chip
fuel. The test was interrupted by a grate issue so I was not able to
make proper measurements due to complications (08/2007). This test will
have to
be repeated in order to have an accurate percent of charcoal produced.If the above video doesn't load click here.
In addition to charcoal for Terra Preta this gasifier also produces small amounts of wood vinegar and lots of producer gas.
